Motion Palletes
Interactive installation Motion Palette invites audiences to engage in a moment of relaxation through collaborative digital art. Utilizing color-based motion capture, the system tracks four 3D printed bird objects: Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green, as they move through physical space. A camera detects the specific coordinates and hues of each object, translating their real-time trajectories into fluid digital brushstrokes projected onto a screen. By manipulating these physical "palettes," users become part of the creative process, transforming their collective movements into an evolving visual tapestry.
Space 01
A cinematic study in scale and tension utilizing Blender to render an intense escape sequence through a dense asteroid field. The shot focuses on the visual contrast between the agile spacecraft and the chaotic environment.
Space 02
A cinematic exploration of the vastness and silence of deep space inspired by the visual language of 2001 A Space Odyssey and Interstellar. Created in Blender, the sequence focuses on the steady movement of a space station to evoke a profound sense of isolation and scale within the cosmic void.
DUCK
A mixed media narrative captures the imaginative world of a resin duck living in a Georgia Tech design studio. Integrating photography and video edited through Photoshop and Premiere, the piece depicts a daydream of finding a soulmate and sharing a lifetime of adventures across the university campus. Accompanied by the track Sh-Boom, the story emphasizes a nostalgic and lighthearted tone while revealing the entire journey as a fleeting internal dream.
American Pie Literal Interpretation
Don McLean’s legendary track American Pie takes on a playful new life through a series of literal illustrations focusing on the opening verses. By stripping away the famous metaphors and drawing exactly what each line describes, the video offers a humorous and unexpected perspective on this short segment of the song. Procreate time-lapses show the sketches evolving, with the final edit synced in Premiere to match the tempo.
